Amid the alarming figures of construction-driven pollution, Eco-Tabinnayt, an eco friendly construction company revived the concept of clay bricks, an ancient technique that has been developed and reinforced by the Marrakech-based initiative.

According to new research by construction blog Bimhow, the construction sector contributes to 23% of air pollution, 50% of the climate change, 40% of drinking water pollution, and 50% of landfill wastes.

Around half of all non-renewable resources mankind consumes are used in construction, making it one of the least sustainable industries in the world, according to a research by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

The Marrakech-based company, which has been established in 2016, aims to create environmentally low-impact homes, designed and built using materials and technology that reduces its carbon footprint and lowers its energy needs.
